A Pretty in Purple Baby Shower Event

Today's {lovely} Pretty in Purple Baby Shower event comes to us from Kim of Two's a Party. Kim writes: "When one of our new friends, Lauren of Lauren Avila Photography mentioned she was throwing a baby shower for her best friend who is having a girl, we jumped at the chance to offer to help! She had picked the purple colors, made candy bar wrappers, a pennant, and some pom pom’s for the shower that was to be held at the beautiful home of her in-laws. We took our direction from these pieces to style the dessert and candy tables with some help from Deborah Fay of Romance Etc to work her magic on the centerpieces. We had a blast working with Lauren, her friends and family. We brought in grape gummy bears, blueberry jelly beans and huckleberry taffy. Simply Layered created the blueberry parfaits and champagne panna cotta. German chocolate cake, carrot cake cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes and lemon pie were made by Bake and Broil.
